Holo generally looks like a young woman in her mid to late teens, though she moves with a sort of confidence and assurance that will cause most people to add at least a few years to such an estimate. Brown eyes, long reddish-brown hair, and one of those smiles that seems to be perpetually at someone else's expense. The only real exceptions are her ears, which are those of a wolf, pointed, furred, and situated on the top of her head rather than the sides; and her tail which is a long bushy wolf's tail. Both features are colored the same reddish brown as her hair.

She often wears a long cloak or coat and a hat or scarf to keep them hidden, but sometimes little hints slip through her disguise. After all, twitching ears or a swishing tail tend to make hats and cloaks move in ways that they just don't otherwise.

On rare occasions, Holo looks nothing like a young woman, and instead takes her true form: a massive wolf standing about five meters at the shoulder. The only thing to link the two is that distinct reddish-brown coloring.
